What Possessed Us To Open Wine?
Happy Hour at our house with people from our old church who we do not often see. Also, we got together because one friend has moved away and we knew if we got a picture of us and texted it to her, she would be mad. The lengths I will go to to make my friends angry!!! Or to make them wish they hadn’t moved away. Or both.

What Did The Label Want Us To Know?
The flower on the front is apparently a passion flower. They picked it because
“the blossom never ceases to amaze and entice people around the world….” And other stuff which relates the beauty of the flower to the wonder of the wine. They use the words licorice, chocolate and a hint of dark violets.

What’s So Great About It?
I LOVE this wine!! Most tasters at our house thought it didn’t have enough of a bouquet for them, but they tasted jammy raisin with a pleasant lingering taste. It is SO dark and rich I want to hug it.

(I paid more than this guy did, but I’d like to pay less!! )

Conversation This Wine Engendered:
Mexican wine.
